Shihan Mike Worobel began studying Martial Arts in Newton, MA in 1986.
In addition to holding a 6th Degree Black Belt in Kenpo Karate, Shihan Mike Worobel trains in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He has trained in boxing, kickboxing, wrestling and has played semi-pro football. He also has extensive weapons training.
Shihan Worobel began teaching Martial Arts in 1990. He trained sport Karate champions in sparring and form as well as training both Golden Gloves boxers and kickboxers.
Shihan Mike Worobel opened Mike Worobel Martial Arts in North Hampton on September 10, 2005.
Sempai Joe Ricardo
Sempai Joe Ricardo has been studying under Shihan Worobel since 2005 and is currently training for his brown belt.
Sempai Joe began as a S.W.A.T student (Special Winning Attitude Team) in 2007 and is currently an Assistant Teacher in the children's program.
Sempai Joe competes at martial arts tournaments all over New England and recently won first place in fighting in his black belt division at the International Kenpo Council of Grandmasters World Championship tournament.
Sempai Joe joined the Marines in July 2015 and will leave for Marine Boot Camp on January 18th.
Sensei Toni Worobel
Sensei Toni Worobel has been studying Kenpo Karate under Shihan Worobel since 2005 and was promoted to 1st Degree Black in May 2015.
Sensei Toni began teaching in 2009.
Along with teaching martial arts Sensei Toni created and teaches POWER (A core conditioning fitness class that combines cardio boxing with circuit training).
Sensei Worobel has experience as both a fitness aerobics instructor and personal trainer. Sempai Toni holds a B.A. degree in Marketing.
